I met Bob three years ago when I went to Beijing. Bob was fantastic. His command of English, first and foremost, put me totally at ease. His ability to convey the history of his great country was not only complete but he did so in an interesting fashion. He related details but also some stories. For instance, in the Forbidden City, he showed me where the concubines stayed. At the Temple of Heaven he pushed me to right with all the other people to stand on the highest point and took pictures of that struggle! His knowledge of modern architecture and events was likewise complete. We discussed forms of government at all levels, housing issues, car issues. I rode the subway with him to many spots. He assisted me when I was attempting to buy souvenirs, not interfering but there to ensure I was not overcharged. He took me to a couple nice restaurants where we ate traditional Chinese food and at the Summer Palace, I introduced Bob to Pringles!

My boyfriend Torben and I had a very romantic trip in Beijing China,we are coming from Germany with my other friends Jost and Marlies who had hired Bob previously,who is recommended as our tour guide Bob is just great,so we call him top Bob, he had shown us the best places in Beijing,like Mutianyu Great Wall,Forbiddeny City,Hutong Tour,Temple of Heaven and of course we love the excellent Chinese dumplings and Beijing Roast duck!
